project #7 | process post

I have really enjoyed working on this project. I love the contrast between the colors and the mood of the piece so far, although I do think some of the figures are forming weirdly. My biggest struggle with this piece has been trying to position the figures somewhat naturally, even while planning, and I think when I went from sketching to painting I lost some of the natural-ness, although I still really like the piece!

I am very excited to continue working on it and I feel like I will be able to build even more on my process for this project (e.g. colors, figures, background) in my next piece. Overall this has been one of my favorite projects to work on.
