project #2 | process

we've been working in-class on our second project of the year (after home projects) and mine has been going well! i'm very happy with how the colors are turning out, although the proportions are sort of an issue. i've been trying to layer paints more effectively and do slightly outline-y sort of lines, so hopefully through some combination of this i can layer over the proportions more and make them slightly more believable. that's been my biggest challenge so far, alongside the mane on the unicorn and the big sun object, because those got so overdone on the first layer, but hopefully as i continue to work things will improve!
