oil painting | process

The last several weeks we have been working on painting still lives. While I feel like I've improved a lot since the last process post, I haven't quite captured the full form of some objects. However, since I'm starting color painting (hopefully) next class, I hope that the practice I've had doing to grisaille base will help when I'm working in more dimensions (hue, saturation, etc.). I'm excited and also a little nervous to start color, because I don't want to mess up my painting, but at the same time color will obviously add a lot to my painting if I do it correctly.
