Alonsa Guevara is a contemporary female painter. I was struggling to find someone to do an awareness post on, so when I stumbled onto her work it was really awesome to see. I love her style, colors, and the fantastical or more surreal elements she includes in her work, even subtly. In her own words, her works "celebrate the connection between humans and nature."

I loved mostly all of her works, and it was interesting to read over her website and learn about her process. I think her podcast seems really cool as well, so I might watch some of that. Overall, she seems like an interesting artist, and her work is really worth checking out.
